This Mug is hand-thrown from creamy-white porcelain clay and has a hand-painted, hand-carved clementine orange design and gold accents. This mug is stein-shaped, and the design wraps around the piece. All Mugs are glazed with a glossy dinnerware-safe clear glaze.
Treat gold accents as fine china - handle with care while washing, do not use an abrasive scrubber while handwashing, and do not allow the piece to rub against rough dishes in the sink. The thin layer of real gold will hold up to most dishwasher cycles, but it can be scratched because it is gold, and we recommend handwashing.
Gold products are not microwave-safe.

I love this colors and details on the mugs. The craftsmanship is amazing.
I have been eyeing and wanting the clementine mug for a few months. After only two tries trying to purchase one of these exquisite pieces during the sales, I somehow managed to get it at my third sale that I shopped at online. Yes, third times the charm! And it was the 19 oz. size to boot. The larger size is what I like but definitely would have been happy to purchase any size clementine mug. Great craftsmanship, dazzling artwork. It makes me happy when I use it to drink my coffee on weekend mornings.
Yep, it was me! I was not only one of the lucky 5 that had my name drawn to get to do an early buy, but, I was also lucky enough to snatch the "one of one" Tall Clementine Mug! I feel like I should go in the witness protection plan. What a thing of beauty! It was a gift for my honey, Debra, and she loves it!
