This Mug is hand-thrown in speckled stoneware clay and has a hand-painted Protea botanic design and carved accents. This mug is stein shaped with the design wrapping around the surface. These Stoneware mugs are glazed with a glossy white glaze inside, lip and handle. The rest of the mug is an unglazed, lightly sanded, clay surface.
This mug is microwave and dishwasher safe.
The colors are amazing and bright. A happy spring reminder. The details are intricate and the gold is a wonderful eye catcher.
This mug is so beautiful! It's also really cool to have gotten one of the first of their "tall" mug versions with the expanded wrap-around design. Took a handful of shop releases to finally get my hands on an RBD piece, but I am glad this is the one I get to call mine!
